Our Finance team plays a critical role in supporting the business through robust financial governance, commercial insight, strategic planning and performance management. Working as part of a broader global Rheinmetall Finance community, the team partners closely with senior leaders across the organisation.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Finance Director will provide strategic financial leadership across Rheinmetall Defence Australia.

n

You will lead and develop the Finance function, driving financial performance, governance, planning and commercial decision-making across a complex project-driven environment.

n

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

n

n
- Significant finance leadership experience within a complex, project based, defence, engineering,



manufacturing or industrial environment;
n
- Strong commercial, strategic and financial management capability, including experience supporting major programs, projects, contracts or investments;
n
- Demonstrated experience leading, developing and building high-performing Finance teams;
n
- Strong knowledge of financial governance, controls, risk and compliance, with a focus on continuous improvement;
n
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders; and
n
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
