The Opportunity

n

Reporting directly to the Managing Director/CEO, you will take ownership of the Corporate Risk division, managing a significant portfolio while leading growth initiatives across the business.

n

You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding key client relationships, driving new business opportunities, strengthening insurer partnerships, and supporting the development of the broader broking team.
n The ideal candidate will be a respected "beacon" broker- someone with the technical expertise,



commercial mindset, and personality to attract clients, inspire teams, and represent the business at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead a team of 5 and manage a $600K–$750K corporate insurance portfolio
n
- Retain, develop, and grow key client relationships
n
- Drive new business acquisition and deliver annual growth targets
n
- Identify opportunities to increase client share-of-wallet
n
- Develop tailored insurance and risk management solutions
n
- Negotiate complex placements with local and international markets
n
- Build and maintain strong insurer and intermediary relationships
n
- Act as a senior escalation point for the broking team
n
- Coach, mentor, and develop brokers and account executives
n
- Support business strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and growth planning
n
- Drive compliance, process improvement, and operational excellence
n

You will bring

n

n
- 8+ years' experience within insurance broking
n
- Proven experience managing corporate or complex commercial clients
n
- Solid background in business development and portfolio growth
n
- Demonstrated success negotiating with insurers and markets
n
- Previous leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
n
- Deep understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and risk solutions
n
- Strong industry relationships and market credibility
n
- Tier 1 qualification (mandatory)
n
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive outcomes
n
