About the Role

n

As part of our Engineering Department, you will support the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the hotel, helping ensure our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Painting, patching and general touch-up works throughout the hotel
n
- General handyman and minor maintenance duties
n
- Basic repairs to fixtures, fittings and hotel equipment
n
- Preventative maintenance tasks
n
- Assisting with room and public-area maintenance
n
- Responding to maintenance requests from operational departments
n
- Identifying maintenance issues and reporting larger works to the Chief Engineer
n
- Supporting the Engineering team with ongoing projects and maintenance programs
n
- Maintaining a safe,



clean and organised working environment
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone dependable, organised, and genuinely proud of the quality of their work.

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or painting role
n
- Good general maintenance and repair skills
n
- Painting and patching experience
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
n
- A positive attitude and robust can-do approach
n
- A commitment to workplace safety
n
- Previous hotel, hospitality, commercial building or facilities maintenance experience would be highly regarded
n

- Full-time position – Tuesday to Saturday

- $70,000–$75,000 + Superannuation, depending on experience
