Do you have a passion for working with people with a disability and/or mental health concerns? Affinity Disability Servicesare looking for Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich.
Your Role
As a Disability Support Worker you will be supporting themost significant people in our organisation - our participants.
Your tasks may include:
Providing the very best care and support to participants in line with their care plans and NDIS goals.
Undertake personal care duties which may include cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and social and community participation.
Provide support duties which may include shopping, transport etc
Your Attributes
We are looking for people who have what it takes to make a difference in our participants lives.
You have:
- A warm and nurturing nature
- The willingness to go the extra mile
- Ability to build rapport and engage with participants
- Cert 3, or above, in Disabilities, or a related area, or currently studying such
- Blue card and yellow card or ability to obtain these
- Current Queensland driver's licence and a registered carwith comprehensive car insurance
- Current first aid and CPR
