You will operate production equipment as part of our Bathurst based packing team, keeping an eye on how machinery is running and responding when something isn't right. When equipment stops or faults, you'll use basic problem-solving to work out what's going on - checking the obvious things, clearing simple faults, and carrying out basic maintenance tasks to keep the line moving. Full training will be provided on our equipment, and you'll be supported by experienced staff. This role will involve lifting items weighing up to 15kg, highlighting the need for physical fitness and safety awareness.

The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm

Key responsibilities

About you

- Some mechanical aptitude or hands-on problem-solving experience (trade background, farm/machinery experience, or just a knack for figuring things out)
- Comfortable working with production equipment and willing to learn how it works
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting and stay on your feet through a fast-paced shift
- Food manufacturing or maintenance experience would be highly regarded but is not essential
