About the job

Working closely with the senior manager, this role involves the provision of a broad range of accounting, taxation, business and support to our clients including:

- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements.
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.
- Communicating directly with clients.

To be successful, candidates will have the following attributes

- A very good understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax law for Individuals, Trust and Companies.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to email clients and communicate directly.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to show initiative in completing tasks on your ownas per Manager's instructions.
- Ability to manage workflow of client base given to you and work based on time priorities.




- Advance competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, including letters and spreadsheets for clients and the firm.

- Ability to operate Xero (Advanced) and MYOB files proficiently.
- Highly motivated individual and a team player with strong work ethics.
- Have FULL working rights in Australia.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience and are looking to continue your career in public practice with ambition to complete or have completed your CA or CPA.
