This is a hands-on position working across both the Lonsdale workshop/warehouse and client homes throughout Adelaide. You will work on kitchen renovations, new kitchens and custom joinery projects.
Key responsibilities
- Kitchen and custom cabinetry installation
- Cabinet making and joinery work
- Kitchen facelifts and cabinetry modifications
- Installing doors, panels, kickboards, fillers and hardware
- Cabinet alterations and problem-solving on site
- Working from plans, drawings and measurements
- Preparing cabinetry and materials for upcoming installations
- Working alongside designers, project coordinators and other trades
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work environment
- Communicating professionally with clients while working in their homes
About you
- Cabinet making, joinery or kitchen installation experience
- Strong installation and finishing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working independently on site
- Ability to read plans and solve problems as they arise
- Good communication skills and a professional manner with clients
- Your own basic tools
- A current driver's licence
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Trade qualifications are highly regarded, however strong practical experience in kitchen cabinetry and installation is equally important
