About the role

Short St Cafe is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to join our team. We are a busy, family-owned grab-and-go cafe located in the Broome town centre, serving freshly baked sweets, wraps, baguettes and quality coffee. This is a hands-on role where you will take responsibility for the day-to-day front of house operations of the cafe and lead our team.

You will work closely with our Kitchen Manager to ensure the cafe operates smoothly and efficiently across both front and back of house. The successful applicant will be actively involved in customer service, coffee making and supporting the team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

- Managing and coordinating staff and rosters
- Leading the front of house team and ensuring excellent customer service




- Making quality coffee and working across the cafe as required
- Maintaining high standards of food presentation, cleanliness and service
- Managing stock orders, deliveries and invoices

About you

- Previous cafe management or supervisory experience
- Confident coffee-making skills
- Strong communicator and confident team leader
- Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure
- Hands-on and takes pride in providing outstanding service
