We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Captain to take command of our busy Private / Charter Motor Yacht, based in Fremantle.

If you have extensive international experience aboard recognised larger motor yachts, including experience cruising Mediterranean waters, together with strong technical knowledge and proven crew leadership skills, this is an opportunity to take the helm of a unique Western Australian cruising program.

This is a hands-on Captain's role. You'll take ownership of the vessel, lead the crew and deliver exceptional guest experiences while remaining actively involved across deck, engine room and day-to-day yacht operations.

As Captain, you will be responsible for:

- Safe navigation, operation and overall management of the vessel
- Leading and managing the crew to maintain exceptional onboard standards
- Providing a professional and seamless experience for owners and charter guests
- Voyage planning, navigation and vessel safety
- Overseeing engine room operations and vessel operating systems
- Operating various vessel drive applications including twin screw, jet and leg systems
- Maintaining the yacht to an exceptionally high standard
- Working hands-on across deck and engine room operations as required
- Adapting confidently to changing itineraries, conditions and guest requirements

What you will bring This is a senior appointment requiring proven experience and strong technical capability. You will require:

- Minimum Master Class 4 or Master of Yachts 3000 GT
- Minimum 5 years' overseas yachting experience aboard larger motor yachts,



including experience cruising Mediterranean waters
- Previous Kimberley and Western Australian cruising experience
- Strong navigation, vessel safety and seamanship knowledge
- Sound engine room knowledge and understanding of vessel operating systems
- Experience operating twin screw, jet and leg drive applications
- Proven crew leadership and guest management experience
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated longevity in previous positions
- Professional presentation, strong references and a hands-on work ethic
- Full Australian working rights

Additional qualifications or experience in water sports, fishing, diving or helicopter operations, including a helicopter pilot licence, will be highly regarded. Why Superyachts Perth?
