Manufacturing & Production Team – Multiple Positions Available

Pathfinder Caravans is a leading Australian manufacturer of quality caravans, committed to delivering creative, reliable and high-quality recreational vehicles to customers across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and motivated tradespeople and manufacturing professionals to join our team at our Campbellfield, Victoria facility.

We are looking for skilled candidates across multiple areas of caravan manufacturing and production. Full-time and contract opportunities are available, with immediate starts available for the right candidates.

Positions Currently Open

We are currently seeking candidates for the following roles:

- Chassis Builders / Fabricators
- Caravan Builders / Assemblers
- Furniture Makers / Cabinet Makers
- Doors & Drawers CNC Operators
- CNC & Edge Bander Operators
- Drafting / Design Engineers
- Installers and General Manufacturing Trades

Candidates may be considered for one or multiple areas depending on their experience, qualifications and skill set.

About the Roles

Working as part of our manufacturing team, you will be involved in the construction, assembly, installation and finishing of caravans. You will play an important role in ensuring our products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Depending on your area of expertise, your responsibilities may include:

Chassis Builders / Fabricators

- Fabricating and assembling caravan chassis and structural components
- Cutting, welding, grinding and fitting steel and aluminium components
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and measurements
- Ensuring chassis are built accurately to specifications
- Conducting quality checks and maintaining safe work practices

Caravan Builders / Assemblers

- Constructing and assembling caravan structures and components
- Installing walls, floors, roofs, fixtures and internal components
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Reading plans, drawings and manufacturing specifications
- Working to production schedules and quality standards





Furniture Makers / Cabinet Makers

- Manufacturing and installing caravan cabinetry and furniture
- Cutting, assembling, sanding and finishing timber and composite materials
- Installing cupboards, wardrobes, kitchens, benches and internal fittings
- Working from drawings and production specifications
- Maintaining a high standard of finish and workmanship

Doors & Drawers CNC Operators

- Operating CNC machinery to manufacture doors, drawers and cabinetry components
- Preparing materials and loading CNC machines
- Reading cutting lists, drawings and production files
- Performing quality checks on finished components
- Maintaining machinery and ensuring safe operating procedures are followed

CNC & Edge Bander Operators

- Operating CNC routers and edge banding machinery
- Preparing and processing panels and components
- Setting up machinery and checking dimensions
- Ensuring accurate edging, cutting and finishing
- Performing quality control and maintaining equipment

Drafting / Design

- Preparing and modifying technical drawings and manufacturing plans
- Developing drawings for caravan structures, cabinetry and components
- Working with production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Interpreting specifications, measurements and engineering requirements
- Assisting with design improvements and production solutions

What We're Looking For

We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Caravan, RV, marine or vehicle manufacturing
- Cabinet making or furniture manufacturing
- Carpentry and building
- Metal fabrication and chassis construction
- CNC machining and manufacturing
- Edge banding and panel processing
- Drafting,



CAD or manufacturing design
- Caravan assembly and installation

Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Relevant industry experience or transferable trade skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans or specifications
- Ability to use relevant hand tools, power tools and machinery
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and practical skills
- Ability to work efficiently within production deadlines
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform manual work where required

Relevant trade qualifications, licences, tickets or certifications are preferred but not essential, depending on the position and demonstrated experience.
