Australia Network Services Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Full time Carpenter to join our team in Strathfield, NSW.

This role involves working across our clients’ construction projects, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces throughout Sydney. You will work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Position Details

- Position: Carpenter – Full-Time
- Salary: A$90,000–A$98,000 per annum, plus superannuation
- Location: Strathfield and various project sites across Sydney, NSW
- Work arrangement: In person
- Flexible working hours may be available
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience is required for this role

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials.
- Construct, install, maintain, and repair walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, door frames, windows, cabinets, and other timber structures and fixtures.
- Ensure all carpentry work complies with relevant building codes, workplace health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools, and relevant machinery.
- Calculate material quantities, labour requirements, and project costs, and assist in preparing detailed work plans.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.




- Assist with supervising and coordinating junior carpenters and other site workers when required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and workmanship before final installation or project handover.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite during and after the completion of work.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently to help keep projects on schedule.

Skills and Experience Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of three years of relevant carpentry experience.
- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transport are preferred.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
- A high level of accuracy and precision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
