Job Summary

We are looking for a casual General Practice Nurse to join our team whenever the lead nurse is absent.

Key Responsibilities

- Clinical Care: Conduct health assessments, manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma), perform screenings, and administer vaccinations.
- Health Promotion: Provide advice on healthy living, smoking cessation, and general wellness.
- Chronic Disease Management: Monitor and support patients with long-term conditions, perform clinical tests, and manage wound care.
- Vaccinations: Administer flu, childhood, and travel vaccines.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform wound dressings, injections, cervical smears, and assist with minor surgeries.
- Collaboration: Work with GPs and other staff to ensure integrated patient care.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
- Experience in general practice preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in clinical skills (wound care, injections, etc.).
- Solid communication and patient education skills.

Job Type: Casual Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
