Trainee Production Worker / Machine Operator

Looking for a hands-on job where you can learn real skills and build a career?

Guardian Building Products is looking for a motivated person to join our production team. No previous manufacturing experience is required – if you're reliable, keen to learn and have a good attitude, we'll provide the training.

n

You'll get the opportunity to learn how to operate a range of modern production machinery while working with building products supplied to projects across Queensland.

n

What you'll learn

n

n
- CNC machine operation
n
- Panel saw and sheet processing equipment
n
- Working with fibre cement and compact laminate products
n
- Reading measurements, drawings and cutting lists
n
- Quality checking finished products
n
- Packing and preparing customer orders
n
- General production and warehouse work
n

n

As you gain experience, you'll be trained to set up and operate machinery independently and develop your skills across different areas of our production facility.

A forklift licence or previous factory, construction or manufacturing experience is a bonus, but definitely not essential.
