We design, manufacture and manage high‐quality kitchen, laundry and custom cabinetry projects throughout Brisbane's eastern suburbs and the Redlands.

We are now looking for an experienced Kitchen Designer and Sales Consultant to join our collaborative and growing team.

The Role

n

Position: Experienced Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant
n Location: Capalaba, Brisbane
n Employment: Full‐time,



38 hours per week
n Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm or 9:00 am–5:00 pm; Friday, 7:00 am–1:30 pm
n Additional Hours: Overtime may be available when required to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their lifestyle, requirements, preferences and renovation budget.
n
- Design Development: Create functional kitchen layouts, design concepts, 3D models and client presentations.
n
- Design Presentations: Present concepts clearly and confidently, explain design recommendations and respond to client feedback.
n
- Design Collaboration: Work alongside another experienced kitchen designer to share ideas, review concepts and develop the best possible outcome for each client.
n
- Material Selections: Guide clients through cabinetry finishes, benchtops, hardware, fixtures, appliances and other project selections.
n
- Sales Management: Manage qualified enquiries, follow up clients and guide them through the decision‐making process.
n
- Estimating and Proposals: Prepare project estimates, proposals, inclusions and supporting scope documentation.
n
- Budget Guidance: Develop design solutions that suit the client's expectations and available budget.
n
- Site Inspections: Conduct initial site inspections and site measures where required.
n
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with our production team, project manager, cabinetmakers, suppliers, installers and trades.
n
- Production Handover: Ensure accepted designs and client selections are clearly documented for technical drafting and production.
n
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication throughout the design and sales process while managing expectations professionally.
n
- Compliance: Ensure proposed designs are practical, buildable and compliant with relevant industry requirements.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Proven experience in kitchen design, interior design or a similar residential design role.
n
- Experience consulting with clients and converting qualified enquiries into accepted projects.
n




- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous kitchen or residential interior design work.
n
- Strong knowledge of kitchen ergonomics, spatial planning, materials and finishes.
n
- Confidence presenting design concepts and discussing project budgets.
n
- Experience using kitchen design and presentation software.
n
- Experience with Cabinet Vision and VORTEK Spaces would be highly regarded.
n
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship‐building skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate design documentation.
n
- The ability to identify design challenges and develop practical, creative solutions.
n
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
n
- Reliable transport and a professional approach.
n

A diploma or degree in Interior Design is preferred; however, applicants with substantial kitchen industry experience will also be considered.
