Production Support Officer

Primary Location: Forrestfield, WA, AU

We are seeking a Production Support Officer to join for the Fabrication and Assembly East Region of Metso.

n

Team you belong to

n

The suitable candidate will be a pivotal part of the Production Support Team in ensuring targets are met. This permanent position reports to the Production Support Manager.

n

What you'll do

n

n
- Processing purchase orders, negotiate vendor pricing in line with supply chain estimates and collecting vendor quality paperwork.
n
- Proactively monitoring outstanding supply items.
n
- Answering expediting requisitions to internal stakeholders.
n
- Following up on outstanding vendor invoices and ensure receipting is carried out.
n
- Identifying health and safety risk observations and reporting.
n
- General branch administration and reception duties.
n
- Ongoing support to the Production Team
n

Who you are

n

n
- Experience with SAP is highly regarded
n
- A high level of attention to detail with strong multi-tasking abilities.
n
- The ability to prioritise and time manage your work.
n
- Administration , inventory and purchasing experience, preferably within the mining supply sector.
n




- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
n
- Experience in a variety of administration/reception tasks.
n
- Experience in supply to the mining industry or similar.
n
- Highly Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
n
