Cutting thin glass by hand Processing glass by use of machines Manually moving glass Smoothing rough edges Assessing glass and glazing requirements Preparing and installing double glazing Assembling glass products Installing glass and mirrors in windows, skylights, display cases, interior walls and ceilings Determining type and dimensions of glass required Measuring and marking glass for cutting Loading and unloading glass in preparation for travel to clients Cutting along patterns and templates Smoothing rough edges using belt sanders and smoothing wheels Coating, cutting, etching, trimming, and treating glass to achieve special effects Identifying and implementing the work health and safety procedures required to complete tasks safely Using and understanding the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed to undertake all tasks and duties Maintaining tools,



equipment, and work areas in good and safe condition Special Skills / Additional Requirements

Applicants will be prioritized who ideally have Formal qualifications (AQF Certificate III in glass and glazing) and with 2 - 3 years of practical experience. Ability to caulk glass windows & doors effectively and neatly Capable of handling high volume window caulking with consistent quality In Return

Position is available full time, 38 hours/week but applicant must be available for 6 days a week and willing to work odd hours (Weekend & early morning/late night shifts).
