Our client is seeking a trade qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-known maintenance contractor based in St Marys, Sydney. The Role

n

You'll take ownership of the mechanical maintenance for a fleet of 48 Foton 4.5T delivery trucks operating for a major national customer.

- Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and warranty repairs
n
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns both in the workshop and occasionally in the field
n
- Assist with maintenance on the company's fleet of service vehicles
n
- Work closely with auto electricians and apprentices while managing your own workload
n
- Plan upcoming maintenance and organise required parts independently
n

Your Skills & Experience

n

We're looking for a self-motivated tradesperson who enjoys working independently and takes pride in quality workmanship.

n

- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
n
- Solid experience servicing and repairing light vehicles
n
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own daily workload
n
- Truck experience not required - full product training provided
n
- Forklift and Dogging tickets advantageous but not essential
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
- Immediate availability highly regarded
n
- Initial 6-month casual contract through Marble
n
- $60.00ph - $63.25ph + Super (depending on experience)
n
- Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm
n
- Permanent position likely following successful completion of the casual period
