As we continue to grow and invest in our systems and technology, we're looking for an experienced Senior Systems Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in shaping the future of our finance systems landscape.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Review and improve finance processes, identifying opportunities for automation and increased efficiency.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes.
n
- Map, monitor and optimise data flows between finance systems and wider business platforms.
n
- Identify and resolve data quality, integrity and process control issues.
n
- Act as the finance lead on system implementations, upgrades and process transformation projects.
n




- Support and lead user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration and system rollouts.
n
- Serve as the finance subject matter expert during the ongoing NetSuite implementation.
n
- Develop reporting capabilities and support the creation of automated dashboards and management information.
n
- Ensure robust financial controls, audit trails and governance remain in place as systems evolve.
n
- Train and support users across the business on new systems and processes.
n
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery.
n

Requirements

n

n
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
n
- Experience leading or playing a key role in finance system implementations, upgrades or large-scale process redesign projects.
n
- Strong understanding of core finance processes and controls.
n
- NetSuite experience (essential).
n
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and system structures.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across finance, IT and operational teams.
n
- Experience with reporting tools, SQL, Power Query or other business intelligence technologies.
n
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
n

Desirable experience includes:

- Distribution, manufacturing,



or multi-site business environments.
n
- Multi-entity accounting and intercompany trading.
n
- Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
n
- Project management qualifications such as Prince2 or AgilePM.
