Boilermakers / Mechanical Fitters / Fitter machinist Souther Cross Welding & Fabrication – Bathurst NSW

Southern Cross Welding & Fabrication is seeking experienced and reliable Boilermakers, Fitter Machinists and Mechanical Fitters to join the team. Depending on your trade and experience, you may be involved in a variety of projects including mechanical fitting, maintenance and repairs, welding and fabrication, structural and general fabrication, pump maintenance and repairs, machinery repairs and modifications, preventative and breakdown maintenance, industrial shutdown and project work, and workshop and site-based work.

Applicants must be willing to undergo regular drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Key responsibilities

Mechanical fitting, maintenance and repairs

Welding and fabrication

Structural and general fabrication

Pump maintenance and repairs

Machinery repairs and modifications

Preventative and breakdown maintenance

Industrial shutdown and project work

Workshop and site-based work

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

About you





Relevant trade certificate – Boilermaker, Fitter Machinist or Mechanical Fitter

Confined Space Ticket (preferred not essential)

Working at Heights Ticket (preferred not essential)

EWP Ticket (preferred not essential)

Current Driver's Licence

Relevant industry experience

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and professional approach to work
