Goulburn Valley Express is a locally owned freight business based in Shepparton. We're looking for a reliable PUD (pick up and delivery) driver to join our team, picking up and delivering freight to customers across the Goulburn Valley region. You'll be the face of our business on the road, so a qualified, friendly attitude is a must.

Key responsibilities

Daily pick ups and deliveries across Shepparton and the wider Goulburn Valley

Loading and unloading freight safely, including manual handling

Recording pick ups, deliveries and proof of delivery using a handheld scanner

Completing daily pre-start vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and tidy

Keeping dispatch and customers informed of any delays or delivery issues

Following all road, safety and chain-of-responsibility requirements

About you

HR licence highly regarded but not required

Forklift licence (LF)



highly regarded but not required

Previous PUD, courier or delivery experience preferred but not essential

Good local knowledge of Shepparton and surrounding Goulburn Valley towns

Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting

Punctual, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Strong customer service and communication skills

Willingness to undergo a police check and pre-employment medical

Full-time, consistent hours

Well-maintained fleet

Uniform and PPE provided

Supportive local team and ongoing, secure work
