Position Overview:

As a Cook at our deli, you will play a key role in preparing delicious, authentic Italian dishes. You will work closely with our kitchen hand to ensure that every meal meets our standards for quality and taste while maintaining a clean and effective kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook traditional Italian dishes, including pasta, sauces, meats, and vegetables, according to established recipes.

Create daily specials and assist in menu development, bringing your creativity to the team.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen,



adhering to food safety standards and regulations.

Monitor food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked.

Manage food cost effectively, ensuring that dishes are prepared within budget constraints.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cook, with a focus on Italian cuisine.

Strong familiarity with Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional dishes.

Knowledge of pastry techniques

Ability to manage food costs and maintain accurate inventory records.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
