CASUAL POOL TECHNICIAN

Do you like to work in the outdoors with the breeze and sun on your face? Oasis Pool Care is a well-established family-owned business servicing the Gold Coast for over 12 years, and we are seeking a casual staff member to join our team starting 2-3 days a week initially. You don’t have to be young, just fit. Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Initially you will be working side by side with us whilst training before working autonomously. If you are self-motivated, energetic and enjoy dealing with people then this role is for you.

The successful candidate will:

· Be able to work without supervision, have great problem solving skills and be highly motivated.

· Be reliable, confident, well-spoken and skilled at all times with great customer service skills.

· Have a desire to learn and improve their knowledge and skills, and take pride in their work.

· Be able to lift at least 25kg and manually handle heavy items.

· Have an ABN or willing to get one.

· Have a current Australian driver’s license.

· Have permanent residency or similar. Those with a 6 Month Work Visa only need not apply.

· Enjoy the outdoors and engaging with customers. Be willing to work in all weather conditions (unless unsafe to do so).





· Adhere to WHS guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

· General pool maintenance including chemical testing and balancing, cleaning, scooping, vacuuming of pools – both residential and commercial.

· Checking and servicing all equipment involved in maintaining the general running of a pool including pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaning equipment, and troubleshooting problems.

· Installing new equipment.

· Complete all necessary documentation and record keeping related to pool service visits.

· Restocking and cleaning of equipment and vehicle.
