?‍♀️ Casual Swim Teachers – Mercy Swim School | Mount Lawley + Brabham

Mercy Swim School is growing! We are excited to be expanding our small, boutique swim school to Brabham Primary School, which means we are looking for some fantastic new swim teachers to join our team.

Our swim school specialises in babies and young children, creating a warm, supportive environment where little swimmers can develop confidence and water skills from an early age.

We are primarily looking for teachers to help us launch our new Brabham classes, however, ideally our teachers will be available to work across both our Mount Lawley and Brabham locations as needed. This gives you the benefit of being part of a larger team with more opportunities to pick up shifts and cover classes when other teachers are away.

About the role

- Casual swim teaching across our Mount Lawley and Brabham locations
- Teaching babies, toddlers and young children in small class sizes
- Helping little swimmers develop confidence, safety and swimming skills
- Working as part of a supportive and friendly team
- Opportunity to build your hours as the swim school continues to grow
- Weekend availability is essential, as our swim school operates 7 days per week
- Ideally, you will be available to commit to a full swim term, as consistency is important for our little swimmers

About you

We're looking for teachers who are:
- Warm, friendly and genuinely enjoy working with children
- Reliable,



punctual and committed
- Confident working with babies and young children
- Passionate about teaching water safety and swimming skills
- Flexible and happy to work across both locations where possible
- Looking for ongoing casual work rather than just a short-term position

AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification is required. If you don't currently have all of the qualifications required but you're passionate about becoming a swim teacher, training sponsorships may be available for the right candidates (Terms & Conditions apply). What you need

- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one before commencing)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencing)
- Valid Australian working rights or a valid work visa
- Weekend availability
- A genuine interest in working with babies and young children
