Class 1 Teacher – 2027

Casuarina Steiner School is seeking a dedicated and joyful Class 1 Teacher to join our school from January 2027. This is a permanent, full-time position, with the opportunity to guide the 2027 Class 1 cohort through their Steiner schooling journey from Class 1 to Class 6.

Located in Coffs Harbour on the beautiful subtropical Mid-North Coast of NSW, Casuarina Steiner School provides education for children from 12 months to 12 years in a beautiful bushland setting close to the coast. Our Class Teachers deliver the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework and NESA Syllabus through a pedagogy grounded in Steiner education and an anthroposophical understanding of child development, supported by the Berry Street Education Model.

We are looking for a warm, caring and passionate educator who can build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues and who is committed to their own professional and inner development.



Applicants must hold a primary teaching qualification with current NESA accreditation, or the ability to obtain it, and have qualifications, training and/or experience in Steiner education.
