Your impact In this role, you will lead regional category management for key packaging categories, with a focus on strategic metal suppliers. You will translate global procurement strategies into practical, value-driven regional initiatives, helping deliver budgeted savings, improve supplier quality and service, strengthen category governance and identify new ways of working that support innovation, sustainability and a more competitive Asahi Beverages.

Key responsibilities

- Lead regional category strategy and execution, aligned with global direction and local business needs

- Own end-to-end sourcing and category management activities for relevant packaging categories, from market engagement and negotiation through to recommendation and contract implementation





- Build category strategies using market insights, business requirements and should-cost models

- Partner with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to support NPD, supplier-enabled innovation and operational outcomes

- Manage category and supplier risk, performance, governance and benefit tracking

- Contribute to budgeting through robust cost forecasting and embedded savings

- Improve sourcing processes and systems, challenge legacy buying models and support sustainability initiatives

- Act as a key escalation point within the procurement category team and lead direct reports where applicable

About you

You may bring experience in procurement, supply chain, packaging, commercial, operations or category management, or have built robust transferable capability elsewhere in the business. What matters most is your readiness to step into a broader category leadership role and contribute to supplier innovation, sustainability and long-term value creation.
