Are you passionate about food and making a difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for a part-time or casual Catering Assistant/Catering Services Assistant to join our friendly, supportive teams across our Residential Aged Care Facility in Western and Northern suburbs.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your day might include:

- Assisting with food preparation and general kitchen hand duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
- Serving meals with care and professionalism
- Working in the servery and onsite café, providing excellent customer service
- Supporting residents' dietary, cultural, and meal preferences
- Working closely with chefs and the catering team to deliver quality meals
- Contributing ideas to enhance service and resident satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

- Have full working rights in Australia - essential
- Hold a current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check – essential
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality, including experience in aged care, hospitals, cafés, pubs, or similar customer service environments - essential
- Hold a Certificate II in Hospitality (or equivalent qualification) or have relevant industry experience
- Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team
- Are passionate about providing excellent care, service, and a positive dining experience for residents and customers
- Are willing to learn and contribute to a supportive, person-centred environment
