About the Role:

We are seeking a Catering Attendant to join our team on a Causal basis.

You will be based at our Abbey House, located at 300 Range Road Mittagong NSW 2575.

Shift Time:

- 12:30 pm - 08:00pm (Monday)

- 07:00am - 02:00pm (Tuesday and Friday)

- 10:30am to 07:00pm (Wednesday and Thursday)

Abbey House is seeking a motivated and compassionate Catering Attendant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the elderly and is passionate about providing quality hospitality and dining services. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing and dining experience of our residents.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)





- Previous experience as a catering attendant in an aged care environment (Desirable)

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting the elderly

- Commitment to delivering high-quality catering services to residents

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with general meal preparation, meal delivery, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen.

- Support residents' dining needs and provide excellent customer service

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene

- Follow infection control and food handling procedures

- Participate in kitchen cleaning and equipment

- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and positive dining environment for residents
