M&M; Stockyards is a proudly Australian-owned and operated business based in Manilla, NSW, with more than 30 years of experience designing, manufacturing and installing quality cattle handling systems.

We manufacture our products right here in Manilla using Australian steel and supply cattle yards and steel fabrications to farmers and graziers across NSW and the Eastern States.

We are looking for a reliable, practical and motivated Cattle Yard Installer to join our full-time team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery and seeing a job through from delivery to completion.

About the Role

As a Cattle Yard Installer, you will be responsible for the transport, assembly and installation of prefabricated cattle yards and associated equipment at customer properties across NSW.

Working as part of a small, experienced team, you will install cattle yards, races, crushes, gates and loading ramps, while ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The role involves regular travel and occasional work away from home.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and assemble prefabricated cattle yards, races, crushes, gates and loading ramps
- Transport materials, equipment and components to and from job sites using HR vehicles
- Operate vehicle loading cranes to safely unload and position components
- Operate forklifts, hand tools and power tools
- Set out and prepare job sites to ensure correct alignment and layout
- Read and follow plans, drawings and installation instructions
- Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order
- Work safely and follow all workplace health and safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with the Manager, customers and other team members




- Ensure completed installations meet M&M; Stockyards' high standards of quality and workmanship

Skills & Experience

Essential:

- Current HR Driver's Licence
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Current Vehicle Loading Crane Licence (CV, CN or equivalent)
- Experience in fencing, cattle yard installation, construction, steelwork or similar rural work
- Ability to read and follow plans, layouts and instructions
- Positive physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Desirable:

- Welding or steel fabrication experience
- Experience working with cattle yards or rural infrastructure
