About the role: Perdaman Advanced Energy is seeking experienced CEC Solar Electrician to join our growing team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position offering an exciting chance to work on solar electrical installations and maintenance projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality electrical solutions for solar energy systems, contributing to the renewable energy sector while working with a dynamic and professional team.

What you'll be doing:

- Install, inspect, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and associated electrical components.
- Conduct electrical testing and diagnostics on solar installations to ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing solar systems to maximise performance and longevity.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation relevant to solar installations.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
- Ensure all work meets relevant building codes, electrical standards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including certifications and compliance documentation.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults and performance issues in solar systems.




- Contribute to continuous improvement of installation practices and processes.

What we're looking for:

- Current CEC (Clean Energy Council) Solar Electrician Accreditation or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Recognised electrical trade qualification (apprenticeship or formal qualification in electrical work).
- Proven experience installing and maintaining solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 4777, AS/NZS 5033 and similar solar-specific standards).
- Competency in electrical testing and measurement using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
- Experience with battery storage systems or grid-connected systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of solar design software or system design principles is advantageous.
