Chef de Partie – Catering

Madrosa Cooking & Food Co Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Chef de Partie to join our growing catering team.

Based in Kings Park, Sydney, Madrosa provides premium catering for corporate clients, private events, weddings and media/production catering across Sydney.

We are looking for a hands-on chef who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their food and can confidently work in a busy catering and production kitchen.

About the Role

Working alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team, you will be involved in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food across a wide variety of menus and events.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing and cooking high-quality food to Madrosa standards
- Managing your section and daily prep requirements
- Assisting with corporate catering, functions and large-volume production
- Following recipes, portion specifications and presentation standards
- Preparing food for dietary and allergen requirements
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
- Assisting with stock rotation and minimising food waste
- Packing and preparing catering orders accurately and on time
- Assisting with functions and off-site catering when required
- Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team

About You We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef or experienced Cook




- Holds relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent experience
- Is organised and able to work efficiently under time pressure
- Has strong food preparation and presentation skills
- Understands food safety, allergens and kitchen hygiene
- Can follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable with both small functions and high-volume catering production
- Has a positive, professional attitude

Previous catering, events, corporate catering or production kitchen experience would be highly regarded. What We Offer
