ICT Operating Model Change Specialist

Join a major transformation program driving the future of ICT service delivery within a large and complex organisation. This is an opportunity for an experienced ICT Operating Model Change Specialist to play a key role in redesigning ways of working, embedding new governance and service delivery processes, and supporting the transition to a future-state operating model.

Your new company

Our client is undertaking a significant review of its ICT operating model to ensure it is fit for purpose, scalable, and aligned to future business needs. This large-scale transformation will focus on organisational design, operating model optimisation, workforce structure, governance, and service delivery improvement across a complex environment.

Your new role

As the ICT Operating Model Change Specialist, you will lead the design and implementation of future-state ICT processes and support the transition of the approved operating model into business-as-usual operations.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, ICT leaders, HR teams and business representatives, you will ensure new structures, governance frameworks, accountabilities and ways of working are effectively defined, implemented and embedded across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading the design and implementation of future-state ICT operating model processes and ways of working.
- Analysing current-state processes, organisational structures and service delivery models to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assessing organisational change impacts and developing comprehensive change management and implementation plans.
- Supporting organisational design activities, including centralisation initiatives, workforce design and role clarity.
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions to define future-state operating models and processes.
- Translating operating model decisions into practical governance frameworks, processes,



roles and accountabilities.
- Managing stakeholder engagement activities and supporting adoption across ICT and business teams.
- Developing and delivering implementation roadmaps, communications and transition plans.
- Monitoring implementation progress and ensuring successful embedding of new operating model outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience delivering ICT operating model, organisational design or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong background in organisational change management within complex ICT environments.
- Experience supporting organisational restructures, workforce design and operating model transformations.
- Deep understanding of ICT service delivery, governance frameworks and operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct process analysis, impact assessments and future-state process design.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience within the health or government sectors will be highly regarded, particularly in environments involving complex organisational change, operating model transformation, or large-scale ICT service delivery.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation and operational delivery
