Medirest provides specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals and senior living facilities. THE POSITION

- Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
- Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating as well as allergens and dietary requirements
- Ensure all OH&S; compliance is achieved, and wastage is kept to a minimum
- Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 days a week with shift times of 6am-2pm
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- 4 shifts per week

THE PERSON

- HACCP Food handling experience
- Excellent knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
- Ability to work autonomously
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery
- NPC + WWCC: hold or obtain a national police check and working with children check
