Chef Wanted – Join the La Vallée Family La Vallée is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Chef to join our team full time.

The role will be 5 days per week — 3 day shifts and 2 night shifts, giving you a great balance between daytime and evening service.

Located in Essendon, La Vallée is all about quality food, creative presentation, woodfired pizza, great coffee and genuine hospitality — all in a fun, supportive and no-ego environment.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their food, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to be part of a workplace where people respect each other, have fun and genuinely enjoy coming to work.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef
- Woodfired pizza experience preferred
- Strong cooking fundamentals and excellent knife skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Positive attitude with no ego
- Clean, organised and professionally presented
- Reliable and a great team player
- Passion for producing consistently high-quality food
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
