Chef / Cook – Position Vacant A well-established, full-service licensed Indian restaurant specialising in authentic Indian cuisine is seeking qualified and experienced hospitality professionals to join its team in Rostrevor, South Australia.

The restaurant operates seven days a week, serving lunch, dinner, functions, events, and takeaway services.

CHEF

Full-time | 38 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, season, and cook food according to standard recipes.

Ensure safe and efficient use of kitchen equipment and techniques.

Participate in menu planning and development, including waste management.

Train and mentor chefs and cooks.

Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.

Demonstrate robust knowledge of HACCP and OHS principles and legislation.

Oversee costing, stock control, ordering, rostering, and waste minimisation.

Report directly to the Head Chef.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in a full-service restaurant.

Experience in South indian cuisine will be highly regarded.

Relevant qualifications required.

Diploma of Hospitality and Certificate III in Cookery will be well regarded.

Remuneration

Annual salary: Starting from AUD 80,000 plus superannuation, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in a full-service restaurant.

Experience in south indian cuisine will be well regarded.

Certificate III in Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred.
