Showground Eatery is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their food, works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a fast-paced, supportive team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
- Following recipes, presentation and portion-control guidelines
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation and ordering
- Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Contributing ideas and assisting with menu development
About You We’re looking for someone who is:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen setting
- Passionate about food and quality
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working independently when required
- Committed to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
- Available to work weekends and public holidays when required

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

- Certificate I - IV (Required)
