Leederville Early Childhood Centre Inc is a well-established, community based, early childhood education and care service in Leederville. Licenced for 64 children and open between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm, our service has been offering quality early education and care since 1993.

Situated at 244A Vincent Street, which is close to the Oxford Street café strip and public transport, our service is well established within the local community. Large indoor and outdoor spaces are well utilised for play based learning inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia.

Our service respects each family as the child’s first teacher, and we build on this attachment through primary caregiving practices.

A full-time position has recently become available for a Child Care Worker in our service.

What your new job as a Child Care Worker can look like…

Working in our service, you will work with and be guided by our incredible team of educators to engage with and meet the needs of our children and families. Our service offers a wonderful team dynamic which allows children to blossom. With the support of your peers, you will continue to grow and develop as an early childhood educator in a qualified learning environment.

What some of your responsibilities will be….

- Implementing and working in accordance with the policies and procedures of Leederville Early Childhood Centre Inc,
- Developing strong relationships with the children, their families and colleagues,
- Writing learning stories that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework,




- Ensuring the environment for children and educators is protected,
- Assisting with the smooth day to day running of the room.

We’d love to meet you…. Especially if you can talk to us about your:

· Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

· Current first aid

· Current Working with Children Check

· Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

· Initiative, self-motivation and energy
