About the Role

Minecon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Blue Collar Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team based in Brendale.

We are looking for someone who can step straight in and assist with recruitment across our Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients in the Mining, Civil, Electrical, Infrastructure, and Building & Construction sectors.

You will be joining a busy and growing team with an existing pipeline of labour hire requirements. The role will involve working closely with our recruitment team to source candidates, manage vacancies, and support our clients with their ongoing workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the recruitment process across a variety of blue-collar and technical positions

Proactively source, attract, and engage high-quality active and passive candidates

Prepare and advertise vacancies across SEEK, LinkedIn, JobAdder, and other recruitment platforms

Coordinate interviews, conduct phone screenings, complete reference checks, and manage pre-employment processes

Maintain accurate candidate and client records within JobAdder and other internal systems

Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process

Assist with labour hire mobilisation activities, including inductions, compliance, PPE coordination, and onboarding

Work closely with the existing recruitment team to help meet client requirements and fill vacancies quickly

Build strong relationships with candidates and clients and provide a high level of service

About You

2–3+ years’ experience in blue-collar Labour Hire recruitment

Strong experience using SEEK, JobAdder (or similar ATS), LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office

Previous recruitment experience within the Mining, Electrical, Civil, Construction, or Infrastructure sectors will be highly regarded

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a good office culture

Someone who is comfortable working in a busy environment and can hit the ground running
