Quantity Surveyor (3-8 years post graduate experience)

Hugh B Gage Pty Ltd, Quantity Surveyors & Project Managers have an opportunity for a qualified quantity surveyor to work in our Parramatta office. Working closely with Directors and Senior Quantity Surveyors you will have the chance to develop your existing skills in cost planning, estimating and valuation of construction work in progress.

Key responsibilities

n

Prepare elemental and trade-based budget estimates under supervision of team leaders and senior staff

n

Conduct site inspections and assist team leaders with the assessment of Builder's progress claims

n

Assistance with the preparation of Initial Reports and progress drawdown reports to Financiers

n

About you

n





Degree qualifications in Construction Project Management or equivalent

n

Minimum 3 years post graduate experience with a professional Sydney based QS firm

n

Knowledge and experience of construction techniques, estimating, building costs and construction documentation

n

Proficient level of written and verbal communication skills

n

Ability to work well in teams
