TheRole Applications are invited fromqualified classroom teachers for a specialist role teaching VCEEconomics/Commerceat our Wheelers Hill Campus. The candidate will be enthusiastic,possess a forward-thinking mindset, and demonstrate aspirationalteaching practices.

This is a full time permanentposition commencing January 2027. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion forengaging and challenging studentsand for utilising learningtechnologies. This position isfor an educator with expertise in VCE Economics/Commerce.Versatility to draw upon skills and experience teaching another VCECommerce subject will be an advantage.

KeyDuties

Review and assess students atthe beginning of each program

Provide a flexible program thatcaters for individual students

Deliver learning programs thatdemonstrate aresearch-based knowledge of how studentslearn

Evaluate personal teaching andlearning programs including feedback from students andassessment data to inform planning

Model high expectations toenable a safe and supportive classroomculture

Provide reports within schoolstandards and timelines

Embrace a culture ofcollaboration to enhance studentlearning

Model and live the CaulfieldGrammar School values andbehaviours

Skills andExperience

Experience in teaching VCE Economics is essential.Versatility to teach another VCE Commerce subject will be anadvantage.

Genuine enthusiasm for teachingand commitment to students’ academic and personalgrowth

Outstanding communication skillsand the ability to effectively and engage with students,colleagues, and parents.

Committed to ongoingprofessional development, keeping up-to-date with current economic trends anddevelopments , and maintaininga proactive attitude.

Holds a current VIT Registrationalong with specialised teaching qualifications in Commerce orrelated fields.
