A house-hold brand in Australian Retail is looking to add an experienced Infrastructure Manager to their team. This enterprise organization has been going through successful growth and this is a newly created position within the company.

A combination of people management & technical leadership, the Infrastructure Manager will lead of team of 16 people, driving strategy, modernization & operations specifically in the traditional IT infrastructure stack. The IT Infrastructure setting comprises of over 3,000 servers across numerous sites including 3 DCs.

What you will be doing:

Provide technical and strategic direction for Infrastructure Services

Take ownership of planning, designing & implementing Infrastructure, back up & recovery technologies

Perform workload management, project planning, forecasting and resource allocation





Align technical activities with organizational strategic objectives

Define and enhance business processes

Develop robust processes for ongoing optimization of Infrastructure

Manage a team of technical engineers to ensure operational and strategic needs are met

Manage and maintain Infrastructure budgets

What you will need to succeed:

5+ years experience in Infrastructure Management

10+ years experience in Infrastructure Engineering

Previous ownership of department budgets and forecasting

Proficiency with virtualization - VMware, Hyper-V, SANs

Strong experience / knowledge of Storage, Backup & Recovery technologies

Experience managing DC technologies
