Are you a skilled driver looking for more than just a paycheck? At Hands and Feet, your daily route directly helps feed over 3,500 people in need each week. We are a faith-based non-profit dedicated to supporting the vulnerable, and we need a reliable, community-minded driver to join our Brisbane team in Manly West.
What You’ll Be Doing
- On the Road: Safely driving our vehicles (including refrigerated Pantechs) to collect and deliver food across local communities.
- At the Hub: Assisting warehouse staff with loading/unloading (lifting up to 20 kg) and operating forklifts as needed.
- Fleet Care: Keeping your assigned vehicle fueled, clean, maintained, and logged according to safety standards.
- Team Support: Representing Hands and Feet with pride and upholding our values out on the road.
What We’re Looking For
- License & Experience: Valid Light Rigid (LR)
license (or higher) with a clean driving record (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Physical Fitness: Capability to handle repetitive loading/unloading and lift up to 20 kg.
- Key Checks: Explicit Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check clearance (or willingness to complete them).
- Values Alignment: A patient, team-oriented mindset aligned with our Christian ethos and community mission.
- Work Rights: Valid full Australian working rights.
