About the Role

n

An exciting prospect is available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a highly regarded property development and construction business in Brisbane.

n

You will manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, including supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, payment runs and reconciliations across multiple construction projects.

n

The ideal candidate will have accounts experience within a commercial builder or construction company. Experience using Jobpac or Payapps would be highly advantageous.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process
n
- Process supplier invoices and subcontractor payment claims
n
- Match invoices against purchase orders and project costs
n
- Prepare payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations
n




- Set up new suppliers and maintain accurate records
n
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to supplier queries
n
- Assist with bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations
n
- Support month-end processes and reporting
n
- Liaise with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors
n
- Ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time
n

About You

n

n
- Previous accounts payable experience within construction
n
- Experience working for a commercial builder is preferred
n
- Confident processing high volumes of invoices and payment claims
n
- Experience using Jobpac or Payapps is highly regarded
n
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
n
- Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
n
- Professional, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
n
