Details: Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is looking for expressions of interest from skilled and motivated casual educators to join our Creative and Design Industries areas. The roles would involve training and assessing students across a variety of subjects in line with the latest training packages in fashion, visual arts, photography and interior design.

At CIT, we believe in the importance of fostering a supportive learning environment that prepares students for success in the field. As an educator with us, you will help, construct, guide, and enhance the student learning process while maintaining strong connections with industry professionals.

Responsibilities:

- Provide quality, engaging training that prepares students for working in the relevant industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to ensure training content is current and industry aligned.
- Support students through their learning journey with constructive feedback, encouragement, and qualified guidance.

About You:

- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in industry.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in your area of expertise. Teaching qualifications and/or experience in VET (Vocational Education and Training) is highly regarded.



There is an expectation that you will be prepared to start our Cert IV in Training and Assessment on recruitment to the position.
