Role Description<

The Cladder / Rigger role is a full-time, on-site position based on EBA projects across melbourne and the inner suburbs in Victoria, Australia. The role involves installing structural steel, glass panels, cladding systems, balustrades, privacy screens, canopies, stairways, and gates according to project specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting drawings, preparing materials, rigging and positioning components, securing structures, and working with lifting equipment and hand tools.

The Cladder / Rigger will collaborate closely with site supervisors, other trades,



and project managers to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality finishes. The role also requires adherence to OH&S; requirements, maintaining a tidy work area, and contributing to continuous improvement in installation methods.

Qualifications

- Experience in structural steel and glass installation, including cladding systems, balustrades, canopies, and related architectural features.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements with high accuracy.
- Competence in rigging practices, use of lifting equipment, and safe handling of heavy materials.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in fabrication and installation work.
- Sound understanding of construction site safety, OH&S; regulations, and safe work procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with other trades and supervisors.
- Positive physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Relevant trade qualification, rigging or dogging ticket, and working at heights certification are highly regarded.
- Previous experience on medium to large-scale construction projects in Australia, particularly in Victoria, is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to different sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area.
