Casual Cleaner – Inner West & Lower North Shore

$35 per hour + super | Weekday work | 4–10+ hours per week initially

Clean by Courtney is a growing local cleaning business servicing Sydney’s Inner West and Lower North Shore, and we’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused cleaner to join the team.

We’re getting busier and are looking for someone who genuinely wants ongoing work and would like the opportunity to take on more hours as the business grows.

This is a casual employee position with approximately 4–10 hours per week available initially, with the potential for hours to increase as new clients come on board.

About the role

You’ll primarily complete residential cleaning for regular and one-off clients across the Inner West and Lower North Shore.

Typical duties include

- Vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Kitchen cleaning
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- General household cleaning
- Laundry (when booked as an add-on service only)
- Following client notes and Clean by Courtney cleaning procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation and attention to detail

Cleaning equipment, products and uniform are supplied. No weekend work is required.

- Is happy to follow established cleaning systems and checklists

Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable, but the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally key.

Requirements

You must

- Have a current driver’s licence
- Have reliable access to a car
- Be able to travel to jobs across the Inner West and Lower North Shore
- Hold a current National Police Check, or be willing to obtain one at your own cost
- Have Australian working rights
- Be available for weekday daytime work
