This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.78FTE), 59 hours per fortnight, working a split shift.

Bundaberg East State School opened on the 1st of July, 1886.

With a current enrolment of 300-330 students from prep to year 6, we take outstanding pride in the tradition and reputation of our school for pursuing the highest standards in the academic curriculum, sporting, music and extra curricula programs.

Your Opportunity

- Clean and sanitise a range of areas, surfaces and fixtures, including windows, doors, sinks, drinking fountains, furniture, equipment, toilets and sick bays.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and undertake tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming,



hosing and controlling cobwebs and mildew using extendable equipment where required.
- Clean and maintain indoor and outdoor surfaces, including concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved areas, as well as vinyl and timber floors through buffing, stripping and polishing.
- Manage rubbish and litter, including removing material from drains and gutters between and around buildings, and undertake graffiti removal.
- Perform other appropriate cleaning duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
