On behalf of our valued client, a leading residential aged care facility located in the scenic Barossa, Altaira is hiring a Clinical Nurse for a full-time role.

This Monday to Friday position calls for an experienced Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the aged care sector. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Standards, while care planning experience, knowledge of the AN-ACC funding model, and experience in managing staff are all highly desirable

What you'll do:

- Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with company policies, ANMC standards, and professional codes
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans to optimise client outcomes
- Coordinate, implement, and evaluate care plans and service outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client needs and review care
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely clinical documentation
- Practise safely within scope, ensuring accountability and adherence to policies and procedures




- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through continuous professional development
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Enrolled Nurses, PCAs, and volunteers
- Assist with staff orientation, training, development, and performance support
- Support student placements and induction of agency staff
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and management
- Escalate incidents and ensure timely reporting in line with client requirements
- Act as senior nurse on shift when required, including emergency response
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and Work Health & Safety standards
- Undertake additional duties as required within scope of role.

Essential:

- Current AHPRA registration with no conditions

- National Police Clearance
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate / CPR

- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
