Bradbury Hotel is looking for a reliable, skilled Casual Chef to join our kitchen team. We're a busy neighbourhood pub with strong community support, and we need someone who can deliver consistent, quality food across our service. This is a great fit if you're looking for

About the Role

You'll work as part of our kitchen team under the Head Chef's direction: Prep & cooking

- Execute menus to brief and standard; handle mise en place, cooking stations & plating

Consistency

- Maintain quality & portion control across services

Teamwork

- Support other kitchen staff; communicate clearly during service

Standards

- Follow food safety, health & safety, and cleanliness procedures

Flexibility

- Cover different stations as needed; adapt to service pace

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills 1-2+ years kitchen experience (sous chef, commis chef, or line cook level)

Ability to work efficiently under service pressure

Clean food safety knowledge & understanding of kitchen hygiene standards

Comfortable working to a brief and following established recipes/procedures

Professional Qualities Reliable & punctual (casual work depends on showing up)

Positive attitude & good team communication

Willing to learn and adapt

Respect for the kitchen & your team members

Valid visa/working rights in Australia

Practical Fit Comfortable committing Wed-Sun hours on a casual basis

Flexibility to shift between cooking stations as needed
