About the Role

n

Videopro is looking for motivated individuals to join our Technical Teams as a Trainee AV Technician. You'll provide support to our installation teams, assisting with technical, administrative, and hands-on installation tasks. This is an ideal starting point for someone looking to build a long-term career in the AV industry.

As part of the role, you'll complete theCertificate III in Telecommunications Technologythrough a formal Traineeship, combining on-the-job experience with structured training. The full pathway from commencement to qualified AV Technician is expected to take approximately 18–24 months.

n

You'll need to be keen to learn, comfortable working in a team, and ready to pitch in wherever needed. Good communication skills and a positive attitude go a long way here.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Supporting the delivery of AV projects in office, including new builds and retrofits
n
- Learning the basics of AV system design, installation, testing and commissioning
n
- Completing your Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology as part of a formal Traineeship
n




- Attending training and development sessions as part of our structured Traineeship Program
n
- Assisting with cable runs, equipment installation, and basic setup under supervision
n
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and customers
n
- Following safety, quality and company standards on every job
n

What We're Looking For

- A genuine interest in technology and how things work

- Willingness to learn and take direction

- Strong listening and communication skills

- A white/blue card (or willingness to obtain one)

- Reliability and a team-first attitude
n
- Willingness to do physical tasks (cabling, lifting equipment, etc.)

- Ability to work paid overtime if required
