Public Sector People are recruiting a Community Compliance Officer to join a local council on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a hands-on, field-based role covering parking compliance, Local Laws and animal management, with a solid focus on community engagement, education and enforcement.

The Role

- Conduct proactive compliance and parking patrols
n
- Investigate complaints and community enquiries
n
- Issue infringements and enforce relevant legislation
n
- Support Local Laws and animal management activities
n
- Gather evidence and maintain accurate records
n
- Manage challenging interactions professionally and confidently
n

About You

n

n
- Previous Local Laws, compliance or regulatory experience
n




- Knowledge of infringements and relevant legislation
n
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
n
- Current Victorian driver's licence
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- Animal handling experience is highly regarded
n
